As Black Lives Matter protests plateau, Country Day students, teachers grapple with social advocacy

Public discussion on race and criminal justice issues has steadily increased since the death of George Floyd in police custody on May 25. Over this past month, support for Black Lives Matter increased by nearly as much as it had over the previous two years, according to Civiqs, an online survey research firm.

Country Day high schoolers and teachers reflected on the protests and shared their perspectives on the Black Lives Matter movement.
